Dr. Anna Chifungula GCDS
She is Zambia’s first female Auditor General and known for being the woman who held down one of the fundamental constitutional offices of the Republic – the Auditor General’s office. Meet a real-life hero, now referred to as Grand Commander of Distinguished Service, 1st division, the Republic of Zambia, Anna Chifungula GCDS.
The title of Grand Commander of Distinguished Service was conferred on her by His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Zambia Mr Edgar Lungu and decorated by His Excellency the President of Botswana Mr Ian Khama, during this year’s Independence Celebrations on 24th October, in recognition of non-political Zambian heroes.
